How Can You Prevent Hair Loss?
When it comes to preventing hair loss and maintaining proper hair growth, here's what I do …
- Add B-complex vitamins to your diet. Take your vitamins in liquid or gel form …
- Avoid costly (hair transplant) surgeries and risky operations at all costs …
- Clean your comb and brush of dead hairs weekly/monthly. Then, replace it every couple of months. Treat yourelf to a brand new hair brush every couple of months.
- Consume fresh foods, fruits and vegetable greens. Check out my salad recipe and juicing for real energy article. You have to get your vitamins and minerals, and I love getting them from juicing live fruits and vegetables. You see, the funny thing is, once we leave home (and mom's good cooking), the foods we tend to eat (or make for ourselves) aren't balanced or loaded with all those good vitamins and minerals that came with mom's good cooking.
- Cleanse your intestinal tract (with a colon cleansing formula) so you can absorb more nutrients and vitamins from the foods you do consume.
- Cut your hair often; trim those split ends!
- Don’t always blow dry your hair, gently towel dry it more often. Let it dry naturally.
- Don’t use someone else’s hair brush, use your own. Who knows what kind of hairy “creepy crawlies” run around in there.
- Follow up with an awesome conditioner after you shampoo. The two brands I recommend (if you click on the previous links) are what I've been using for as long as I can remember. Talk about leaving your hair as soft as silk! Oh, of course while you’re at it, you might use these two products on your body hair too. That goes for the armpits, chest hair and you know where else. You can order these two recommended products online or look in your local health food store in their personal care section to see if you can just buy them locally. Otherwise, order them online. The time it would take you to drive down and buy them, you'd burn enough gas to cover the shipping if you just ordered them online. Time is money. Do what's best for you …
- Keep away from pool chlorine and other harmful chemicals that might break down the hair follicle.
- Gently massage the scalp and hair three times a day (morning/noon/ night). Stimulate your scalp; brush you hair before you go to bed!
- Remember, your hair never fell out over night, it won’t grow back overnight either.
