When it comes to getting organized, here are some awesome ideas:
- Plan tomorrow … TONIGHT! When you wake up, all you need to do is start your day – not research it!
- If you're always late, work on being on time. You might also set your clocks ahead by 10 minutes.
- When watching TV and the commercials come on – that's your cue to get up and do something productive: clean up and around the living room, your bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom, take out the trash, start/fold a load of laundry or brush your teeth!
- Suspend large objects and bikes from the ceiling in your garage or attic. A friend of mine suspended 7 ocean paddleboards from his living room ceiling AND 2 bikes over the fi replace. Now that's what I call getting organized!
- Buy a shower caddy. They're convenient, cheap and are great for organizing all your bathroom gadgets, shampoos, soaps and razors.
- Add a magazine rack to your restroom. We spend over 300 hours a year in the restroom tending to mother nature. Why not take advantage of the time and learn something! Get ahead while you're getting it out!
- Computer phone list – keep a listing of all phone numbers, company/personal information in your computer for quick and easy reference. Instead of erasing old addresses to make room for new ones or making a mess with ink and pen, just HIT THE DELETE KEY and enter the new address over the old one! I store a lot of other data in addition to names, addresses and phone numbers. I can keep loads of data on a company or person in my computer much better than I could if I used just a regular phone/address book. Keep a backup copy and always print it out (if you can) after signifi cant changes.
What ideas do you have for getting super organized? Jot them down and live 'em!
