Count Your Blessings
It’s easy to dwell on the negative when you don’t spend any time thinking about all the good things happening in your life. Here are a few blessings you need to count: Your health, friends, family, your children, grandchildren, your job, money in the bank, your home, among other things you should feel so blessed with.
Exercise: Every night, before you go to bed, write down 5-10 good things that happened to you that day or that you're grateful for. Then, think on these things as you fall asleep. After several nights of this exercise, you should find your sleep to be a bit more restful.
Also, when you ever feel down and out and think you don’t have anything to be grateful for, again, make a list of 5-10 good things that happened to you today, yesterday, last month, that you know is coming up in the future and "thankfully" dwell on those things!
Awesome! B.S. (i.e., down times) be gone!
